i’m in the process of baking gluten free chocolate chip cookies. my algebra teacher gave me some gluten free baking mixes for christmas, and i’ve finally gotten around to making them. The ingredients are as such: white rice flour, granulated brown sugar, evaporated cane juice, non dairy chocolate chips (sugar, chocolate liquour, dextrose, cocoa butter soy lecithin, pure vanilla abstract) potato starch, tapioca starch, non aluminated baking powder, xanthan gum, sea salt. To be added by the individual: softened margarine, 1/4 cup of water, 2 tsp of vanilla. I swear to you, i’ve eaten at least 5 raw cookies. Fucking delicious. You can see how this is going to turn out bad. Real BAD. and they’re good, as good as something that doesn’t have flour can be. Oh this is bad. BAD! I wonder what would be tthe best way to ship these to you guys to taste test. Can you just send food in the mail?
there has been a name change to the blog. life has become a little bit like a CBS sitcom- i guess most lives are once things get up and running. This weekend was even more so like one, for reasons not so explained in the blog. and in hanging with Amanda and Maggie this weekend we totally had a sitcom of a time. We went to this yogurt house near Amanda called Yoku Yoku. Its like the TCBY of the 21st century Culver City. They had frozen yogurt in a plethora of flavors, and gelato. I had gelato twice. My system is still dealing with having that much dairy in it, but it was worth it. So, the name of the blog is now called Yoku Yoku, which would be the name of our sitcom. Here’s a slight translation found on Google. Its the only one that made sense. Now that i’m going to have to start writing real entries and documenting real fun. BRING IT!!
